Damfino I agree with DAVID LEWIS wholeheartedly. The last three KK albums have been absolutely incredible. I love the little audio clips inserted within and between the songs. It gives the albums a cohesive element that makes listening to them much more of an "album" experience rather than a collection of songs. Top shelf stuff here. Very well done. Favorite track: Whispered Voices On Tape.

DAVID LEWIS I have enjoyed every one of Kilbey Kennedy collaborations. But, ever since Jupiter 13, they have taken it to a new level. This new release continues that trend. It’s magnificent. You need to get this one. Favorite track: NDE.

about

Premonition K
The associates of oblivion sweetly divining
Research engines learning and burning
The crowd invisible all gathering around
A name on a gravestone...ah does it ring a bell?
Call a hansom cab or travel electric driverless
The undertakers will never be out of a job
Still we perused a spirit photograph all joined hands at the table
Some accomplice tampering with things
Well I remember the man from across the hall
In the gaslight memory of wavering lamp and candle
Sudden chill and broken bone snap
Something caught in Novembers dark curtain
Something that flew into a mirror and vanished
The cats and dogs were all going crazy
I could hear them even under the water
Lightning lashed from out of a storm
The tempestuous flight of another two souls
Hideous hag ridden by entity
Horrible little men who dig away at our life
Skull of a tiny bird
A feather falls out of an empty room
Mercury drops out of ellipse
I hurry down to the station but there are no trains home
A final boarding call yet none will alight
Premonition K for our boys at the front
Premonition K for the babe in the cradle
Premonition K for the girls left behind
Premonition K available now

Kilbey Kennedy Sydney, Australia

Steve Kilbey, the writer of magical hit Under The Milky Way (The Church) joins forces with Martin Kennedy of atmospheric ambient stalwarts All India Radio: "Sumptuous meeting of Australian soundscaper and the head Churchman...Apart from having a voice of characterful cool poise and an imaginative lyrical lexicon, Kilbey can make a strong melodic song out of simple elements."
